Charming spot, gets a facelift

If there's one venue, that lets me feel like I can truly unwind, it has got to be Mr. Toad's. The ambience, music and friendly vibe is always welcoming.

Which is why, when I heard that it has reopened its Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) branch following a huge transformation, I decided to check it out for myself.

The new outlet has transformed into an all-new community dining and entertainment destination. The makeover has doubled the size of the existing venue and brought a host of new features, including an outdoor terrace, enhanced entertainment programme and exciting new menus.

The refurbishment, is part of Mr. Toad’s operator Emirates Leisure Retail’s continued investment in upgrading its growing portfolio of restaurants and cafes across the UAE. The new venue spans almost 4,000 sq ft, with indoor and outdoor seating.

We entered to a fun quiz night and interesting food items all around. It was nice to bump in to friends who were equally eager to kick-off their week day blues. The newly-refurbished venue is expected to enhance the bustling DSO community as the go-to venue for family-friendly fun, delicious meal, exciting entertainment and the best in big-screen sports viewing.

Special weekly themed events include Ladies’ Night on Tuesdays; Quiz Night on Wednesdays; Curry Night and live entertainment every Thursday and Mr. Toad’s much-loved Double Weekend Roast every Saturday and Sunday, all alongside the warm welcome, great hospitality, legendary deals and brilliant service that Mr. Toad’s is renowned for.

The new branch is one of six Mr. Toad’s venues in Dubai, with others at Premier Inn Al Jaddaf, Dubai Investments Park, Ibn Battuta Mall, Al Garhoud and Barsha Heights. More branches are planned for 2025. I can't wait to go back.
