Sensational shakes

If you've ever had that moment when your boss or teacher is driving you up the wall, friends are busy and you need to change your mood, this may the venue for you. Known for its delicious hand-crarfted burgers, sides and insane shakes - Black Tap has introduced a killer shake to its CrazyShake menu.

Created in partnership with the Dubai-based Instagram and TikTok star – Ella Kaddoura, representing her debut brand collaboration, the limited-edition, regionally-exclusive 'CrazyShake® by Ella Kaddoura' will be available from the 23rd of June for three months only at Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates and Rixos Premium JBR. Ella is the daughter of Joelle Mardinian, a successful television show host, makeup artist, entrepreneur, and founder of the beauty empire Joelle. If you're wondering what's in this shake? Well, it encompasses multiple trends – think matcha flavours and a vegan donut – as well as fabulous toppings and garnishes which are in no short supply. The result is an entirely unique, one-off drink that celebrates the UAE’s sweet tooth and takes #dessertgoals to a whole new level.

Destined to not just cause a stir but spark a frenzy when it launches, the dessert-drink hybrid sees Black Tap celebrating matcha, the vibrantly-hued, energy-giving, antioxidant-rich green tea powder for the first time.

This latest sweet treat features a signature Black Tap filled with a vanilla and matcha shake decorated with creamy vanilla frosting studded with multicoloured Sweet Star candies. It is then garnished with towering swirls of whipped cream, matcha wafers and the cult-favourite snack that is the Matcha Kit Kat. A handmade, pillowy soft vegan donut from uber-popular homegrown brand Here-O, a sprinkling of matcha powder and plump red maraschino cherry provide a fitting final flourish to what is perfection in a glass.

Speaking of the association Ella says, “I’ve always been a big fan of Black Tap, especially their CrazyShake® milkshakes, so being asked to create my own was a bit of a dream come true. I hope people love it as much as I do!” As an establishment, Black Tap has always tried to offer that timeless NYC vibe alive, all over the world.
