Formula for success

This weekend has been exhilirating to say the very least. Thank you to DHL Supply Chain and DHL Global Forwarding which opened a new Innovation Centre in Dubai for the Middle East and Africa region. We were later invited a few to the watch the Forumal 1 races behind the scenes in Abu Dhabi.

After living in the UAE for two decades, I had to pinch myself while walking on the actual pit lane that world famous racers were competing on. It was extraordinary to see Lewis Hamilton address the media right in front of us. The third time I've seen him in public. Though he hasn't had a good run, I've always admired his spirit. It was sweet to see the enthusiastic crowds gather to get T-shirts signed by the legends of this sport. Here are a few images that speak for themselves. A big thank you to the DHL Comms team without whom none of this would be possible. I was fortunate to see Metallica live and the 90's kid in me came alive in all its glory. Yes, that happened on my birthday. I feel like I won the lottery.

All this proves one thing. Logistics is in everything. It makes the world move. I'm glad that my job takes me to places and more so that kind, professional people offer me such amazing opportunities that must be documented for life. In this race of life, you have won my heart and endless admiration.
