Where lazy is cool

When the going gets tough, its ok to slow down.
Most of us are rushing from one weekend to the next. It seems as if I've blinked and most of the year has zipped by. Which is why when the invitation to visit, a venue called Lazy Cat, came by, there was a lot of mystery and excitement in the air.

Located in Al Quoz, Pond Park, Dubai, this is a restaurant that offers a comfortable ambience and a diverse menu for breakfast or brunch. They encourage guests to take their time and savour the food and the moment.
It was a perfect oppurtunity to try their blue matcha, a viral drink that is served either cold or warm. One can order a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate through the day, both of which are both highly reccomended. Originally launched in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, the franchise opened its door in the UAE in 2024. We were at the eatery for dinner and we enjoyed 'The Lazy Burger,' and the 'Fancy Schmancy' a loaded sandwhich that lives up to it hype. 'The Buffalo Chicken and Ranch' pizza was our favourite.
But then it was time for dessert and OMG. There are so many amazing choices so will let these pictures do the talking.
The staff at the venue is friendly and they help you make the right food choices and that is a big plus in my book.
So if you are in for it, Lazy Cat will ensure you chill out and soak in life's goodness. While stepping on to the lush green Pond Park, we found a rabbit hopping around almost ensuring that this isn't a place for just feline friends. Made a mental note to return to this nook nestled in a bustling city like Dubai. Hope you will visit too.

Abi, I really enjoyed reading your article. You have made Lazy Cat sound like so much more than a café - it feels like a little escape where time slows down. I loved the way you tied it to our busy lives, reminding us how important it is to pause and savour the moment. The food descriptions were mouth-watering (that Lazy Burger and those desserts are truly yummy) and the bit about the rabbit in the park was also Lovely.
Your writing has a way of making the reader feel like they are right there with you, soaking in the vibe. Thanks for sharing this experience and for reminding us that sometimes being a little “lazy” is the best way…
